There were a lot of contradicting benches lately, so take them with a grain of salt. People usually recommend sites such as GameGPU, HardOCP or Guru3D.

In general a 7970 is a bit faster than a 670. The gap is bigger when overclocked. I would go with whatever card you can get a better deal on. There's no notable difference in the experience you get at 1080p.

In general a 670 and 7970 trade blows, at 1080p, 1440p/1600p.
To this day the 670 still beats the 7970 once in awhile (even at 1600p), for example with Bioshock Infinite.

The overclock comment is useless as all of these cards overclock very well.
They are all in the same bracket of performance, only the Titan stands out and pounds them all.

Infinite only offers FXAA on/off in the settings. I suppose they could have used AA in the Nvidia Control Panel / CCC but then it might not be fair between the Nvidia and AMD cards.

Apparently Unreal Engine never had very good support for AA.
