Ok I'll try to explain best way I can. Basically I run at 4.4 OC with 3570k. I have all power saving options disabled in bios except for speed step which still allows me to idle with lower clock speed and voltage. Also doing this I can set up power profiles which I pin to task bar and change power options easily. For example while gaming I can run full power at 4.4 which results in smoother gameplay in more demanding games.

If I'm playing a older game I can run at 75% and save power. Good for games like quake live. Black ops 2 likes to run at 4.4 no matter what which is not needed while waiting in between matches. So I created a profile which idles at 99% which equals 3.4 and it kicks up while in game to 4.4. Basically I want to increase that value to 3.8-4.0 if it's possible. Using intel extreme tuning utility it has max non turbo boost ratio. Can I change that to 3.8-4.0 and then when needed kick up to 4.4? I can run 3.8-4.0 at stock volts. If anyone knows how I would really appreciate it.
