Do note that you do need a big mousepad.. something like a SteelSeries QcK+ or something of that sort that would help you so you will have enough mousepad space.

Xtrac ripper XXL is a good option too. It's MASSIVE, I like it cause my keyboard and everything fits on it so nothing slides around when I'm gaming

Low sensitivity in terms of competitive fps gaming is considered to be anywhere roughly below 2.2 400 dpi equivalent. Mid-high is from around 2.2-3.5+ (anything much more than this isn't really beneficial though imo). So all you people saying low sensitivity makes the best fps gamers are wrong. Xizt, f0rest, get_right, friberg, etc are all mid-high sensitivity gamers and are the best aimers/team in the world right now. Considered Low sensitivity to the average casual player? Yes, considered low sensitivity to the competitive scene? No. The term is very vague to say the least

that's pretty accurate, the definition of low and high is rather subjective. i play with 1600 cpi and 1 in game, it's nice because ingame(csgo) it's a 1 to 1 sens ratio to my desktop.

yeah those are nice settings, that equates to f0rests setup just with the adjusted cpi/sensitivity.

Forest has the highest sensitivity at 1400 "CPI". In contrast Fifflaren has the lowest at 650 "CPI". Get Right and Xizt have nearly the same sensitivity at about 1200. Friberg is in the middle with 880. Scream uses something like (have to ask him which) 1058 or 800.

I would say: 400-700 is low, 700-1000 in medium, 1000-1300 is high, 1300-**00 to be very high.

I think Friberg is "better" than majority of his team in GO right now. Forest is great in pistol rounds. Get Right is good all around. However, none of them are as impressive as Scream with the AK.

scream uses 400 dpi and sens 2.1 ?
its quiet low, he also uses 5/11 but this doesn't affect the game because he uses m_rawinput 1.
he is using the same settings like he did with intelli 3.0

In counterstrike I use 400 dpi at 1.5 sensitivity.
So for a 360 degree turn I need 69.2 cm or 27.3 inches.
normal 6/11 windows.
Rawinput 1.
And use a dot for crosshair.

This works the best for me, most of my friends find it weirded they use between 2 and 3,5 sensitivity with 400 dpi.

I went from 800DPI to 3200DPI from one day to another, drastically improved (clawer) after a week or so.

Stepped down from 3200 to 2400, improved slightly. Any lower, I have tried, and besides making me tired, just feels so awkward.

I'm one of those who cannot play at all with low sensitivity. Having a 10x15cm space to move my mouse in, doesn't help either.

In what game was that Artikbot?

I find in Counterstrike lower sensitivity nice because the game is more about pre-aiming and the gameplay isnt much depending on a loth of quick turning and twitch shots.
When playing Cod I use 800 dpi and dont change the sensitvity.
So its already a big difference from what I use in Counterstrike.
But then again Cod is more about twitch shooting and less and less about pre aiming because of it level desings.

Pretty much everything I play.

Definitely not Counter Strike, I quite hate that game, tongue.gif

Mostly Planetside, Ghost Recon Online, and singleplayer shooters. I just feel that 2400DPI and raw mouse input is the perfect translation from my mouse movements to screen representation.

When I used to play COD4, I felt like 3200 was spot on for assault. Lowered to 2400 when I sniped.
