AX860 is good, but make sure you double-check your sleeved wiring & connectors if you were going by the 850 - they're not quite the same (different manufacturers)! I know the factory-sleeved cables are different on their web store...

So I have already noticed frown.gif 8pin cpu and pci-e connectors are different. 24pin and molex/sata from ax850 go in, but I haven't tried if they actualy work. Not going too either. Good thing I made all these extension cables wink.gif

(It's still a seasonic platform by the way ^^ the AX-i stuff is different)

A brand new Corsair AX860 80plus Platinum PSU biggrin.gif <3 Corsair! I'll think of you when finishing this build wink.gif

And I finished these by the way ^^ :

question! when you sleeved the white on the cables did the color come through by any chance? ive been working with paracord lately and i noticed the color comes through ever so lightly it kinda gives it a dirty look and i cant stand it. or did i do soemthing wrong you think?

Yeah, with white sleeve the color will always come through the sleeve ever so slightly. I tried to stretch it enough so the weave closes. Some tips:
- use white cables
- wrap something white and flexible around the colored cable
- at least have the same color peeping through for every white sleeved cable.
- black is ok, it just makes the white a little darker. In the interior of the rig, it won't really show. (not my mdpc)

yea i talked to lutro0 about it yesterday im probably going to be hacking my PSU apart and replacing all the cabling with white wire.. my OCD will not allow the dirty look for my build unfortunately.

No actually not tongue.gif I'm a poor student... I could do things bigger and better, but for the time being, this will have to do. I don't even own my own jiggsaw tongue.gif

Much easier way is to wrap wire before sleeving with white electrical tape. much easier & cheaper thumb.gif
