scard to go with the 7970 ]= - Page 3

Going from GTX460 sli to HD7970 will net you about 40-60% performance increase. I went from a GTX570 sli to HD7970 and it didn't feel like a downgrade and felt every bit as smooth if not more so than my dual GTX570s. I wouldn't worry about that with a single card.

Look out for voltage locked cards, they suck.

yeah if thats a sapphire HD 7950 OC(900 Mhz) card go for it. you can easily overclock it to 1100 mhz with voltage tweaking. the sapphire dual x cooler is good.

This is my 7950 MMMMMMM MSI Radeon HD 7950 Twin Frozr III Boost Edition
MMMMMMM MSI Radeon HD 7950 Twin Frozr III Boost Edition
MMMMMMM MSI Radeon HD 7950 Twin Frozr III Boost Edition

people used to laugh at my XFired 7770's, not any more biggrin.gif

This card Is amazing, I can run at 1250 core and 1500 memory with some minor voltage overclocking. and it is very quiet except under extreme gaming sessions, then it is a little louder but not too bad
