this "frame time rating" isn't that unheard of with several sites looking into in the last week.

AMD Comments on GPU Stuttering, Offers Driver Roadmap & Perspective on Benchmarking

As the second turns: Frame captures, CrossFire, and more
Inside the second with Nvidia's frame capture tools

those are but a few . .

They are in track somehow... Funny they still don't get the whole picture..
You better off and listen to the other guy XD...

If you are a gamer and a hardware enthusiast and like tinkering with hardware none of this would caught you out guard.

But it seems that is something new around this places now a days...

I'm now convinced that PCPer's assessment is clearly off. The youtube video of BF3 along with their analysis dont seems to coincide at all.

My own frame time testing confirms there is definitely an issue present on AMD CF setups not found on SLI setups. The question is, what, if any, effect it has on actual users? I for one didn't really notice any difference between CF 7970's and SLI Titans running back to back unless FPS dropped so low on the 7970's that it was obvious (like in FC3 and Crysis 3).
Yeah there's no doubt that there's an issue, and AMD would be wise to fix it. By the same token it also looks like PCPers assessment of runt frames and their affect for the end user looks wayy off.

you sure that you're not justifying your titan(s) purchase?

edit: FIX'D!

I read those articles and I understand. If you understand then explain to me simple, and not point me to some reviews I read already. I wrote some legit questions here. If you understood you would just give me the simple answer b/c those who really understand can explain it simple.

So, I was saying that it just cannot be right that CF does not add any frames per second compared to single card. CF users would notice it by now. According to this review they all have been blind this whole time. I am not biased towards any brand, I don't care. I own both. Just saying that "observed fps" in this particular review isn't really observed, or if it is then all those ppl with CF setups have zero gains in most games compared to single-GPU systems.

Exactly. PCPer might not be 100% correct with their findings, but AMD HAS ALREADY ACKNOWLEDGED THAT THERE IS AN ISSUE with crossfire configurations. To those who can't (or won't) notice or accept that, good for you, but I doubt AMD is going to comment about fixing an issue that is not existent.

Like beauty is in the eye of the beholder, the same can said about frame time and frame latency.

this, they might be wrong. It would be wrong to accept their 'observed fps' graphs as absolute truth. True is also that AMD indeed have some big CF issues to fix.
