That sounds like bias. Ah well. I'll give this a few months so the dust settles and we'll actually know what's going on, since this nonsense is... nonsense smile.gif

i think that its both have different approaches to what is better. (so AMD favors less latency by this)

the optimal solution IMO is that both could try to reach a decision (compromise) to what is the best scenario for the GPU industry and work on that. (obviously would never happen)

Yea I agree on that, a compromise will never happen, all AMD has to do is make a test of their own that favors them and fight Nvidia with it via as many review sites as possible. Or... they can bow to Nvidia and go with their rendering technique, which would be the easiest solution (and the one that is likely going to happen) in the short term but it will basically give Nvidia the control over the GPU segment, since they can decide what quality / performance is.

I had no issues with CF and my 7970's so I'm not looking past anything. Some of us don't notice or care about micro stutter so there's no need for a "fix" from my standpoint. I just wanted even better performance so I went with Titans...

Looks like AMD will include BF4 with it's never settle bundle. That's going get people's attention big time thumb.gif

With the improve drivers already in the works and another bundle on the way the 7900 series is looking like a good buy.

no need for fighting fire with more fire. we all just get burned sometimes. i think AMD should just continue what they are already doing, working on that driver which comes in the summer and work the overall latency and stuttering to be reduced and being interchangeable (i.e. giving the user a choice of either better latency or better stuttering)

IMO, Nvidia's rendering controller thingy (don't remember the name) is most probably favors smoothness and stuttering over latency in the cost of latency and all of these years (or at least the kepler) Nvidia tried to reduce the latency on these.

they only implied that it might be on the NS bundle though it is logical to assume that it would.

It was confirmed by the VP of AMD, it's legit alright.

Wouldn't it be nice if both camps used the same architecture - no more wars, red and green , game developers could knuckle down one fit all coding rolleyes.gif

Then we would have good ole price war biggrin.gif

Or ....
We see a complete 180 degree turn around in AMD's developer relations by seeing many current and soon to be released games (hope watchdogs is included in next bundle) as part of their hardware purchase. While threads like this draw attention to how AMD is already improving their drivers. So we, the consumer, get a much more feature rich, inexpensive product. In which they have their hardware and software already incorporated in all 3 next gen consoles. So that we, the PC Gamers, can enjoy a plethora of games that would have been exclusive only to consoles. That ultimately bridges the gap between what's truly a PC game and what's simply a console port.
