So if I went with 2 of the asus monitors and my current one, they would all run at 1600x900?

I went for 1 x 23" 1080p monitor in college dorming, was best balance between size, weight, and resolution for my needs. If you're only using what you have I'd go for the 1 ASUS PA248Q Black 24.1 with 1600x900 monitor, could stow the 1600x900 away when you need the space.

if all three monitors support 1600 x 900 as a resolution then you can run all of them at the same resolution.
EDIT: if your going for the more expensive asus monitors then why not run those at their top resolutions and then your as a third one to watch temps & stuff

They can run independently of each other, if you game only on the 1080 the 900 will stay there. If you get two 1080 screens plus 900 all three will run @ 900 rather than two 1080 and the third @ 900. I'm pretty sure this is still the case but I haven't messed with eyefinity/surround since my 5870 days.

Also unless you're getting a massive deal, the Acers that Bazinga69 posted would be my preferred choice over the ASUS. Unless you need that super stand if so then please disregard.

3 1600x900 monitors (portrait)
1 ASUS PA248Q Black 24.1 with 1600x900 monitor
1 ASUS PA248Q Black 24.1

Any feedback is appreciated, and I thank you in advance. biggrin.gif

I like my 27'' monitor. Pretty awesome to read word documents and powerpoints.

if you want to get all three of them to play a game then they all have to be the same resolution but i dont suggest doing that if the monitors are a different size, you can get two of the asus's running at 1920 x 1200 and yours at 1600 x 900 and just play games on the middle at 1920 x1200. the other screens have many uses such as temps, netflix, music. etc. etc. etc...
