Hey guys, i finally got the balls to take my TIM off my 3770k and replace the thermal on the die with MX-4, I was so nervous during the procedure. Here is a link to my pics, temps are a lot cooler then they were, right now @ 4.5 with 1.260v under full load BF3 max temps after 3 hours was 48 and under intelburn test max was 56 after 20 runs Idle temps are 25-28c running corsair H100i.

Most of us delidded folk get the best results with CL ultra or pro on the die, and don’t have worry as much with the pump out effect. You can see the results in the delidded club spreadsheet. It is a little hard to see in your pics, but you might want to remove a little more of the glue to make sure the IHS is sitting flat on the die.
