Seems I will not be re-doing my loop any time soon

http://www.overclock.net/t/1377878/heatkiller-came-in-is-this-completely-unsafe/10#post_19664992

After taking peoples word being worth more than a grain of salt, I order a full nickel block due to a member here telling me nickel has less chance to corrode than copper .. only to find out he cost me $200 and weeks of waiting. I can't return the block, I lose %20, i cant sell it on here, and it's out of stock where I bought it, I can't re-order it.

If I would have researched more I would not have made this mistake, I only try to tell people what I know with facts behind it but it honestly seems too many people here are giving advice and it's costing people money.

I see it everyday with build setups and upgrades and it sucks. I hope no one does the same mistake as me and actually trusts people here without knowing them extensively.

Sucks to be me, another $200 lost.

Why did your block costs your $200? I bought mine for much less money.

I got my stuff for less from Sidewinder computers.

This block is still very popular. I think you could probably sell it on ebay or send out some private messages to people who may be interested in the block. It's a very popular good working block. Hard to find.

On Ebay you may even get more than what you paid. Some people with money will pay premium money for something that is hard to find.

Shipment #3 arrives!

Believe it or not, I've contacted watercool.de, not only do they want to refuse my return they mention the shipping cost is too great from Germany to US and to contact my reseller. I had to ignore his message reply to let him know I believe to have a faulty piece of warrantied equipment and if he could send the RMA form in English (just to see what he says)

i would like to help you. Unfortunately the shipping costs are too high. 2-way shipping from Germany to the U.S. would be more expensive than a new block. This makes no sense in my eyes. I apologize.
Please try to contact your dealer. They get replenishment asap.
Remind me never to buy a watercool product again.

Long story short... FrozenCPU says talk to manufacturer, manufacturer says talk to FrozenCPU...
Long term solution.... don't buy from FrozenCPU and don't buy watercool.de products
At least I have performance-pcs left biggrin.gif

A lot of companies try to pass the buck onto other companies, it's all too common
Yes you should definitely shop at Performance-PC's I would recommend them to anyone, their customer service is one of the best thumb.gif

The guy at watercool is correct about shipping, one way from US to AUS is about $50 for something like a waterblock so germany is probably similar, but I do think they could exent a hand for you as they probably sell thousands of those things. This is really unfortunate, I talked to them once and they went out of their way to answer my questions headscratch.gif

I recently had a problem with a water block I bought at Performance PCS and they told me they would help me but then they abandoned me. They don't answer their phone when I call them and they don't answer my emails and they erased my posts on their facebook page.

I have had good customer service from Frozen CPU and I am surprised they are not able to help you more.

I would try to work out an exchange direct with FrozenCPU.

Your block looks like it is in perfect condition. Nothing wrong with it so shipping it back to Manufacturer you would lose more money then just taking a hit on restocking fee with FrozenCPU so I can see why HK told you they recommend you deal with vendor since you just bought the block.

If noone shows interest in my classifieds I'm going to try and get a refund from Frozencpu, if this happens I'll buy the copper block elsewhere smile.gif
Got another package coming tomorrow and i'll probably wait to even do the loop till I get everything correct
(2-4days shipping + 2-3 days refund would really cause a big delay in my loop, and i know theyll try to stiff me with store credit, hopefully not!)

I also got my 3770k today biggrin.gif
