I'm going to assume you were asking how I decided to mount the motherboard to the case, seeing as your post got butchered. I made a acrylic motherboard tray that I think I will attach to the case with some motherboard stand-offs JB-welded to the metal. That way I can take out the tray.

Sorry I wrote that right after I woke up. I was busy doing ten things at once and hit submits before I was done.

The removable mother boards tray does sound good. I have not seen to many Mac mods with removable trays.

Have you checked out The Laser Hive's (TLH) products. I think David from TLH could make you a really sweet neon orange motherboard tray that would not need any J&B weld.

I wish I had known they offered a g5 atx mobo tray before I yanked out the old standoffs tongue.gif I probably will be using one of their rear panel conversion kits. I think I will stick with the acrylic though because I am gonna have some LED's in it.

why not just get the kit THEN paint it?

http://www.thelaserhive.com/products/powermac-g5-conversion-products/g5-full-atx-kit-120-and-original-versions/

it's guaranteed fit and there are sever kits available for different cooling options.

Mostly because I wanted to get as much painting as possible done during summer. (It's extremely rainy here the rest of the year.) Also, I lied about the updates being quick, I blame it on school.
