Upgrading the Grill / Oven

Can someone recommend me a good card to match the GTX 480's performance?

This thing is hot and uses a lot of power.


I was looking at the GTX 660.

My budget is around $200.

I'm not opposed to AMD but I do prefer Nvidia.

Cooler doesn't matter as I have a custom watercool system for it.

Actually, that was the exact card I had in mind before I clicked your Newegg link. This picture is what its PCB looks like without any cooling hardware attached.

Based on the below chart as a quick-and-dirty performance gauge, the GTX 660 should be ~20% faster than the GTX 480.

Also, the TDP of the 660 is 140w, a good 44% less than the 480's 250w. That should greatly reduce temps.
