Anyone have this case: Apevia (Aspire) X-Cruiser - Page 2

Yes, based on the specifications, anything AT or Under 11x12 should fit... we are still wondering about the 12x9.6 boards

That is assuming that the specs for the case are 11x12=hxw, and mobo are 12"x9.6"=wxh, which I doubt that it is.....I bet they keep the dimensions standardized so that you can compare, but if it doesn't fit I'm gonna be pissed, becuase ATX is ATX to people who are noobs to case and MOBO buying (me), as I've owned a laptop for my first few years of college....

Well, when you get it all worked out, pass some of that info my way so I know if I want to get it or not... I'm seriously debating whether to get it or not, there are plenty other cases out there to choose from.

Ok, I think I have something.... look at the test board they used in the case Here. The board is a Asus A7N8X-Deluxe. I googled it and came up with the size that it is a 12x9.6 on this website.

It would only seem that the dimensions of the case are wxh instead of hxw... right?

Hey check this out, if you think about it logically, they have to line up: for some reason newegg has switched the dimensions on the mobos and case spec support for mobos, check out these pics and picture the MOBO being positioned correctly in the case with the USB outputs and such out of the back of the case:

So they have to fit together....I'm now going to read your link!
Hey, good review! I'm reading the next link now...All right well it looks like we have both confirmed that this case will hold a 11"x9.6" (hxl)....really height by depth, but whatever!

So it is, the most confusing case of the century (pun ),

THE VERDICT: Apevia's X-Cruiser is actually holds mobos of 12"x11"

Yay... now I have that case as an official choice of my first build...

EDIT: you can laugh at my bad jokes

Not bad, not bad! BTW, I read some of the user reviews on newegg, and one guy posted his con as:"the front door is a little flimsy so i wouldnt reccommend picking it up by that. also the ports are on the bottom right hand side panel which is slightly annoying. arrived dented on bottom, but does propose a problem..." WHAT AN ARTARD!!! LOL.
Someone else said that they think the case should've been made with abetter material, such as aluminum.....the case is made out of STEEL! Way more conductive than Al LMAO.
Any time you want a good laught, read the idiots reviews on newegg!

Now if we could only figure out if the front intake can be modded to fit a 120mm fan for intake....hhhmmmm......maybe I'll bust out my dad's drill die set when I go back to Little Rock for Christmas. No power tools in my apartment
WAIT! I just realized that I can borrow a drill from my apt. complex's handyman: I help him out with his PC (Emachines LMAO!)
Tyr13, if you get this case, I will let you know how it goes. I don't have a digital camera just yet, but if I can get my girlfriend's camera to uplink to my PC somehow, or maybe email a photo to me address from her phone....anyhow I'll keep you posted on the the 120mm intake fan mod, as they suggested it on that review that you posted, not really sure if you read all of it or not.

Lol yea, when you find a semi-intelligent customer, it is usually interesting what they have to say. The reviews are very helpful when you are looking for parts... if you know what is true, and what is user fault and shipping-fault.

I have that case and mobo and it fits easily.
