My Asus G60VX RBBX05 has been dead for months now (RIP baby) at the Asus authorised service centre. They claim to have no replacement GPU for it. They ve agreed to fix the laptop (my baby) if I can find the part myself. So hey I did my regular googling and found

(thats me being greedy)

I have my doubts with the compatibility of the 460m in place of the 260m (I heard they should be so the same MXM version or something). Please tell me if your opinion if I should get the 460m or the 260m. (Honestly the 460m chip looks different than my 260m in the pictures thats why the doubts).

Any advice is more than welcome! Cheers!!

Doesn't look like any of the parts you linked will fit that laptop. Also, you couldn't use a 460m because the heatsink would have to be completely different (and said heatsink probably would not fit into the laptop) and the holes for the screws are probably in the wrong place too.
