GTX 570 1280MB or GTX 660 Ti?

Thread Starter
Hello everyone! Which one is better? I came across a deal on Microcenter where I could get a Zotax GTX 570 1280MB for $179. Should I get the 570 or fork out $300 for a MSI 660 Ti? I play Battlefield 3, Bioshock Infinite, Crysis 3, Sleeping Dogs and more. Which card would handle these games better at max settings? My current rig: i7 2600k, 16GB of 1600 Ram, 750w Antec Power Supply, MSI Z67MA-ED55, 120GB Vertex 3 SSD, 1TB, Coolermaster HAF 922

Thanks!

660ti hands down. Their 570 Zotac is a short PCB, single fan unit. It's loud and hot. The 660 ti from a performance standpoint alone is easily 50% stronger.

660ti for sure.

as an owner of sli 660ti's i must go with them lol

660ti takes off with sli smile.gif so if u can afford it buy 2. also go for the PE editions as these are best i think.

The 660 Ti performs slightly better than a 580. Also the 570 doesn't have enough VRAM for anything higher than 1080p.

I would get a 7950 instead. Same price as a 660 Ti, more peformance.

Definitely 660Ti. Preferably an MSI 660Ti Power Edition.

Here's why :
- more VRAM
- better cooling
- better overclockability
- better acoustics
- lower power consumption
- newer tech
- better aesthetics

But if you have no bias towards any company whatsoever, then a Sapphire 7950 OC is a much better choice at a lower price than a 660Ti.

Hope this helps! thumb.gif
