I still haven't beaten AC2 lol, I bought Brotherhood and Revelations, but I doubt I ever get to them.

I thought 3 was terrible when I played it at a friends but I think 4 might be good because I am hoping for something like sid miers pirates. Honestly I do not see the problem, if people keep buying them of course they will keep making them, their a business first and if you are not satisfying your demand needs then your doing it wrong. Its up to the gamers not Ubisoft to stop buying these games every year in the first place.

U guys whine too much and expect a perfect game, there is no such thing as a 'perfect' game. III was not bad, it had atleast a open-word but lacked architectural impressiveness (houses were copy&pasted like hell) also no interesting side-quests, no background music (so dumb, coz its nice having soundtrack when wandering in the Frontier/cities). Also never understood the economy/trade.

Perhaps the next one will be much improved and a huge open world or longer campaigns like the rest of Assassin Creed games. Yes you were right how they copied and pasted the maps. Hopefully this time they will go in a different direction otherwise this is another April's Fools? Lol.

I like Assassin Creed but i hope the 4th one is a finale.

True, in the Business world the 'bottom line' comes first but the development cycle is what people are concerned about.

Lets face it, we're not telling them what to do, this is a forum and on this forum we're stating our concern, as gamers, that a game released every year will decline in quality because of the rush to squeeze more money out of the franchise. It doesn't matter what Ubisoft do, their are those faceless masses that're uneducated in pretty much everything, that will buy Assassin's Creed no matter what. Those are the people ruining our games and letting the Publishers run amok with silly day one DLC's with content cut from the game, micro-transactions and Cruddy ports. It'll never stop because "They" will always buy things.

I personally am up for a 4 - 6 year development of a game to almost ensure I get a good experiance but I know it won't garauntee it but a company is less likely to spend 4 years worth of time and money for a "Quick buck" never to be made again because of a tarnished image.

Don't really understand the "news" about this. AC has already been coming with a new sequel once a year.

Of coarse they will keep making, as long as people keep buying their game.

I for one stopped at 3. AC has got to be one of the worst multiplayer AAA games out there. It blows right past COD for suckness.

Would have been better if they never did multi and focused more on the SP.

Most of my friends got AC3, and after seeing the copy/paste job done yet again to the multi, I've decided to bow out.

I can borrow a friends copy to check out the SP story and that's about as far as my "loyalty" will go for this franchise.

People complaining about COD games being copy and pastes haven't played any AC multi.

Totally expecting AC4 multi to have the same weapons, same perks, same moves, same unlocking/rank up system,

and same levels that might look different, yet feels the same as every other AC multiplayer game that has come out.

Brotherhood was the apex of the series so far. Turing Assassins Creed into COD (not that it really isn't at this point) sounds terrible.
