High friction mouse mat.

Thread Starter
Ive had my Sensei for a while now and i cant get used to it. Its basically too damn slidey, even on my 5 year old mantis control mat.

So i want to try a different mouse mat, something high friction. I have no clue which to get so im asking here for some advice thumb.gif

If i find a mouse mat with that one requirement and the mouse is the same, im gonna sell it. My all time fave mouse that suits me perfectly is the G9-G9x. But, ive owned three of them and they've all crapped out on me with the same thing, switching itself off for a few seconds, highly annoying:mad: and im not buying another one.

Try the steelseries QCK. I find it to be quite slow, but the kicker is that it's only 10$.

Hard pads are faster than cloth pads, so you might want to consider one.

i have the massive monoprice pad (fabric)..seems pretty high friction compared to my Steelseries 9HD. Plus it's cheap.

Might not be available in the UK, but if you want friction go fabric.

Hard pads are faster than cloth pads, so you might want to consider one.

Might try one of them, not losing much if i find it no good. Thanks.

Yeh i prefer fabric pads, had hard pads before and hate them. I'll have a look for them monoprice ones. Thanks.

Just ordered the QCK.

Just so happens my scroll wheel is now squeaking like a mofo now mad.gif

Gonna RMA it, sell it and geta different mouse.

Any suggestions for a nice claw grip mouse? Love the G9x, but had the same problem with 3 of them.

I don't really think that the Control is "High Friction" imo, almost as fast as a G-TF Speed in some situations.

Allsop Raindrop XL is pretty slow, Qck Heavy is also slow as well.

The control is a really fast pad, actually.
