Issue with Amd FX 8150. Crashes whilst attempting to put to sleep/hibernate

I have purchased and built a system comprising an Amd Fx 8150, Asus Sabertooth 990fx R2, 16gb Corsair Vengeance Ram, 16 Port LSI SAS 9201-16i installed in a Norco 4224 Case. Corsair AX750 Professional Series 750W is the PSU. 14 Hard Drives (4 2Tb Western Digital Greens, 4 2TB Seagate, 3 2Tb Hitachi Drives)

I have an issue that the system switches off when attempting to put into hibernate or sleep modes.

Other than that no problems.

Could it be PSU, Motherboard which does not have the same s1-s5 states most other boards have.

In event viewer it suggests a kernel power 41 problem. But that covers a multitude of issues which I have read about for about the last fortnight.. Was wanting to use as a Unraid server but wanting to get on top of this particular issue before doing so. It happens whether I have one drive or multiple drives connected for clarity using Windows 7 64bit as the operating system.

Any Thoughts ???

Are you on the latest BIOS available for your motherboard? If not, flash to the newest one from the Asus site under the support tab. Let us know if that fixes it.

Updated to the latest BIOS and the issue is still happening. Have enabled Cool & Quiet and other power saving states. But it still occurs when I don't enable these Cool & Quiet states.

Only happens when trying to put into sleep mode.

Other than this annoying problem the computer seems to be working OK.

Have also had a helpful sugggestion that it might be occuring as all drives are connected to the SAS Controller card. So at some point during the week will connect boot drive directly to motherboard in order to establish whether it's "user-error" in building machine rather than any given fault with machine.
