if I only had money for one system I'd get a 360, but then again I already have a Wii so I don't really need a second one.

but I'd probably go with a Wii. It's cheaper, so you'll have more money for games and accessories and/or an extended warranty. Yeah, it doesn't have as many games out right now, but the games that are out are great! Zelda and Xcite truck are awsome. I've heard good things about both Red Steel and COD3 as well. There are tons of games coming out soon as well. And it's backwards compatible with all gamecube games

I'm not voting because the correct answer is "Both". If the question is rephrased as "Which one should I get FIRST?", then the answer depends on which game you want to play right away: Gears of War or Zelda?

360. The Wii has a really cool concept, and i hope to get one later. But i'd go with the 360 for now, it has all the great games coming out on it and you don't have to wait around to make sure there are no bugs in it. Plus you can play lan partys with old xbox games, lol.

I have an X360 and don't understand what people are saying about the Wii being more "fun"... aren't gaming consoles all made for fun?

Xbox 360 has better graphics, is FAR more versatile, the online service is pertty much the best and they have some very decent games out.

I'm sure the Wii is good, but if you're anywhere near my age, you'll agree that it's pretty dorky to make movements infront of your TV by yourself. I just think the Wii is better suited for the 10-17 age group.

One man's opinion anyway.

For playing on my own or online, 360. Wii for parties and such. Nintendo's are alot better for group gaming. I just hung out with 5 friends last night, we played Starfox, Super Smash Bros, and Metroid on the Gamecube for like 4 hours, had a blast.

It's basically an uncreative way of saying that the Wii is more innovative. That after a decade of the same old, same old, we are finally being given something totally new to experience. And "new" usually equates to "fun", at least for a while. Otherwise we would all still be playing Starcraft, which is old but still better than most games coming out today.

I'm 37, and I can't wait to get my Wii. I'm actually starting to get pretty concerned that I won't be able to find one for my Xmas gift. Being a 25-year gamer makes me want the Wii's innovation even more than most. I'm desperate for something new, I've literally seen it all. I'm beyond ready for innovation.
