[CNET] Windows 8 ekes out 3.2 percent of desktop OS market - Page 2

At this rate, Windows 8 should catch the people who are still using Vista by October. rolleyes.gif

Only reason it's where it's at now is the $15-40 promotion and the fact it's being forced on the consumer via prebuilt machines and laptops.

Lenovo had it for Windows 7 I think, but I actually thought Vista was excellent (I must have been the "1%-er") never crashed.

I used windows 8 on my Grandmothers new laptop a few days ago. This was my first experience with it, and I think its absolutely terrible. IMO even if I had a touch screen laptop, I would not use windows 8.

I mean, heck, Vista only has a small fraction of the market share.

It already has been a gaping security hole...

Another diagram that shows how much 8 has failed? We got enough of 8 we don't like it and we are not gonna buy new laptops or dekstops with it inside.
Windows Blue wotn change those slow rates. 8 has failed big time but I guess MS don't care so much.
