Sorry am new to this kind of thing. But here goes.

I'm on Windows Vista™ Home Premium system and i've been having alot of issue while gaming online, random disconnects and lag spikes where i can't do any actions for 8 to 14 sec at a time, 1200 lateny aka ping etc. i've tryed to reinstall the game, use the repair tool. The game is Wow i'm having problems with and all other online games are fine with no Lag or disconnects. mad.gif

I current have downloaded the most current drivers available from the manufacturer on my pc for my network device, also for my gfx card which is a Geforce 9800 GT.

I also did lower all my setting in wow to improve performance and stability. I also Switched off Optimize Network for Speed and Enable IPv6 in options.
I'm on Windows Vista and DirectX 11 is installed.

Final thing i was told in general forums was i could ''disable Speed step'' or Dram setting etc. I don't know much about this kind of things and as i said am on Windows vista Home Premium with Processor: AMD Phenom(tm) 9550 Quad-Core Processor (4 CPUs), ~2.2GHz Memory: 4094MB RAM.

Any advice & support on this would be welcome. smile.gif

P.s sorry if i've posted in the wrong forum. Never used any online sites before.

Cheers.

Speedstep is an option within the bios but that doesn't seem to be your issue.

If am right the CPU core Speed shouldn't be on 2660 MHz and its jumping to 2900+ - 3100+ Mhz , wouldn't this be causing the random disconnets etc.
