Nvidia and AAA Titles

Thread Starter

Lately most AAA titles that came out are AMD titles. Such as Far Cry 3, Bioshock Infinite, Crysis 3, and even Battlefield 4. And If I am not mistaken Sleeping Dog, Hitman as well.

On the other hand Nvidia is supporting F2P games such as World of Tanks, Planetside 2, HAWKEN.

At the end of the day even with Nvidia GPUs all the AMD supported games are extremely playable but this worries me.

How come AMD is supporting extremely well AAA titles while Nvidia shifted towards F2P?

Any thoughts?

Also what is the next AAA title that is supported by Nvidia? Kinda dissapointed that BF4 is not.

( please no flaming )

Well they never said BF4 wouldn't be, IIRC weren't the first BF3 Demos run on 580SLi configs? Yet the game still performed extremely well on ATi chips. Things with triple A titles is they're big enough to warrant a special driver release from each company. Like with the release of BF3 ATi and Nvidia released special drivers just to improve performance for that game. The same will happen with BF4 when they launch the beta, ATi and Nvidia will launch their respective beta drivers designed for it. The market waxes and wanes from side to side, to drive sales or what ever the real motive is. Both sides will get the code, and both sides will tailor their driver for it. Imho its nothing to worry about, (although I might get an ATI card if the next "Never Settle" bundle has BF4)
