He doesnt have one, he is clueless about computers and came here to learn. Just propose something. We have already established that he is selling that POS case he has now and he doesnt already have the CPU so basically come up with something under $1600

No more than 1650$.
1650$ is not a tight budget mate, That amount of money will get you beastly rig! Here let me show you:

CPU - i5-3570k
Mobo - GIGABYTE GA-Z77X-UD5H
GPU - Either single 7970 or CrossFire 7950
Memory - G.SKILL Ares Series 8GB
PSU Corsair TX 650W
HDD - WB Caviar blue
SSD - Samsung 840 128GB
Dvd - LG 24x
Case options - Im gonna leave you with a few options that might fit your taste and will fit your budget smile.gif
Nzxt switch 810
NZXT phantom 820
Corsair 600T
Cooler master Storm trooper

Total $1,437.90 + case

That's something i'd build with that money. That is going to cut games like butter and overclock so damn good smile.gif

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD3H ATX LGA1155 Motherboard ($139.99 @ Newegg)
Memory: G.Skill Sniper Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory ($66.99 @ Newegg)

650 watts is a little too close for comfort in my mind with 2x 7950 cards better go a little over just in case
