The rumour originates from French site Gameblog, which says it was tipped off about the game by unnamed industry sources.

Wasn't there an article that said that the next batman game wasn't being developed by Rocksteady?

Pretty sure there are 2 Batman games. This one and then another one that some other dev is working on.

I would much prefer they release a "Batman Beyond" based game. Would love to fly around in my rocket boots and go active camouflage on enemies.

PS4 and 720? It had better not still be using UE3.

I really hope this is true and Rocksteady is developing the next game. I also heard they were not and lost all interest. If true, this is great news!

I hope not. Screw rocksteady. I hope it isn't them. All of their games use SecuROM and GFWL, two of the biggest abortions to exist in PC gaming. SecuROM also places a 5 install limit as well - so if you're dealing with windows 8 hell (and re-install a couple of times), good luck with that. mad.gif

I absolutely will not buy a rocksteady game, maybe i'd play it IF it's free with a video card. There's no way i'd pay legit money for Securom due to principle alone. Screw rocksteady.

i played the original arkham asylum on the 360 and tried time and time again to finish it but every time i picked it up i just couldnt get into it... this gives me even more of a reason to not waste my money on the new game haha

What I can't believe what you wrote, Batman: AA and Batman: AC are some of the best games released in resent while, it'll give you the same exciting feeling you would have gotten when you first played Contra on 8-bit.
