Where di you find a 7700 that cheap? I paid like $40...

Anyway, the fins get dust stuck to them, and the fan isn't removable, so you cant clean it, at least I haven't discovered a way yet.

I would say the AC64 just because seem to have great luck with it.

Get a brush with long hair... I use one that's normally used for cooking The hairs of that brush are not as soft as a paintbrush and you can wipe the dust away through the fan blades...then give it a blow with compressed air.

id also say the AC64...ive not had personal experience with it..but most people seem to favour it over the 7700...plus the 7700 is the flower design and the AC64 has heatpipes..which are better for cooling..so id go with that..good luck

I'd say the 7700. Both are great coolers, and you really should just go for whats cheaper.

I would go with the AC64PRO...

NewEgg.com has insane deal on it right now and I just put one in this PC (my brand new one) and I have it running about 41C at max-load in Prime95 and about 34C idle (I don't know why, but idles a tad high), I've only had the heatsink on for about 100 hours and it takes about 200 hours for the MX-1 thermal paste to set, So for the temps I'm running at now it'd be fine, and it's going to get even better once it sets...

I have personally never used a Zalman 7700, but my AC64PRO works insanely good
