Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer 3.0 replacement...

Thread Starter
I need a new mouse. Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer 3.0 is EOL and I can't get it anywhere. Except maybe Ebay and random Hong Kong sites, but im not sure they are legit. It's the perfect mouse IMO.

I'm using a Sensei RAW right now, but its way too light and the sensor is acting strange. This is normal tho, i've tried other RAWs. So i need another mouse... again.

I've had a Deathadder 3.5 too and it was decent. The weight was alot better than Sensei RAW and tracking was alot better. Much more precise for low sens FPS gaming. I think of buying the Deathadder 2013..

I want tracking like the 3.0 had. But it seems impossible to get. Everyone thinks its about DPI and Hz today apparently. Why is this? At 3500 dpi and 1000 Hz the Deathadder was terrible. Lowering to 1800 dpi and 500 Hz was much better. At max DPI/Hz the Sensei was very bad too. I just don't get it..

What to do.. Pretty tired of buying a new mouse every month because no one gives me the feel of a MSI 3.0. Even when they cost 2-3 times as much mad.gif

I wish i had bought 10x MSI 3.0 when it was cheap and still in stock doh.gif

I have an awesome MS Bluetrack tech mouse that I keep as a back up. It is wireless and comes with charger. This thing works anywhere.

This is it, I think.

It is worth the 29.99.

Takasta is a reputable seller

Only other mouse that's remotely 3.0-like besides the DA is the Zowie EC1, even that feels a bit different than the 3.0.

You seem to know what you are talking about smile.gif Would you be able to describe the shape differences between EC1 and 3.0, or say which one you prefer shape-wise? I'm still toying around with the idea of getting a 3.0 to see if it feels better than my EC1.
