"Game Plus" Feature In Asus Monitor

Thread Starter
Just a minute ago I was browsing monitors on pccasegear when I saw a feature called "game plus" on an Asus monitor(link here), basically from what I'm assuming the monitor superimposes a crosshair to the center of the screen, tbh I turn off crosshairs when I play games however this seemed a bit cheater-ish to me and didn't quite sound right to me so I decided to post it here. What are your opinions on this technology even though sure something similar has been done before with a small piece of masking tape in the center of the screen. To be honest I hope its kind of like the FADE system in Arma, that it will be off center, but not enough to be noticeable.

Why would they put it on if its off centre? Just seems like that would just confuse and annoy a lot of gamers.

Like you said, its a bit pointless when you can just use a bit of tape or something to mark the centre.
