Apple will unveil its next iPhone on June 20 and kick off sales in July. At least, that's the claim from Japanese Mac enthusiast site MacFan.
Marking its 20th anniversary as a Mac-oriented Web site, MacFan suggests that the next-generation iPhone will take the stage at a Apple event on Thursday, June 20. The new iPhone will then go on sale a few weeks later in early July, as reported by Electronista..

Although I'd imagine there is a 99% chance it'll look the same as the 5, I would at least hope they made revisions to the design to address the metal flaking/chipping issue that plagued last years phone. Ended up returning mine because of that, I wouldn't stand for it.

It's finally time I got myself an iPhone 5S! thumb.gif

It will look like the iPhone 5. If you look back at the phone Apple did there is a pattern: one external + internal revision, only internal and so on.
They use a design for 2 years so they have the same amount of time to design the new one. Sammy is doing that as well, and it is a pretty wise choice.

I am excited to see any improvements they did on the Swift processor and if it can match up the new Snapdragons.

It's going to look the same, it won't have any new features but it will have better hardware, just like the iPhone 3GS was from the 3G and the iPhone 4S has from the 4S

The chipping only plagued the first few batches, and so was 90% of the other problems.

Won't be getting as I have the 5, but I didn't think it would be releasing this early.

Oh and I am waiting for the Apple haters to arrive in this thread.

The really sad thing is... It will most likely be cheaper than the blackberry Q10 that i really want and that costs a stupid amount of £530

Mobiles should be limited to £300, I have never even brought a phone for over £200 and they all do the same thing these days, Problem for me is i dont want a screen only phone, And blackberrys OS spoils me, Not for features, But how smooth and easy it is to do stuff.

iPhone 5 is £529 for the 16 GB model, the iPhone 5S will most likely be the same price for the 16 GB model. Although on contract pretty much all high-end smartphones cost about the same anyway give or take £10.

Am I the only one who thinks there is a vital flaw in having a fingerprint scanner on a shiny touchscreen phone? I suppose it would be a handy way to unlock it though.

They're begging to alienate their rabid fanbase by making the iPhone 5 "outdated" so quickly.
