AMD 8150 FX - Page 3

as long as you aren't pushing insane amounts of voltage through your processor 1.5v max, 1.45 for daily use, you should be fine.

I will try to change memory to Kingston HyperX Beast and see this out and tell me if this can be the problem:

as i said before, only if you are overclocking and putting too much voltage through the vrms will exploding vrms be a problem. this is very rare and usually only happens during high overclocks. from the article they state 'one of our benchmarking sessions' which means they likely had high overclocks and were stressing the motherboard and cpu to a higher degree.

if you are worried about temperatures, increase airflow in your case or buy one of these:

if you are worried about temperatures buy better fans or increase air flow in your case.

My case have nice air flow but i think its somehting on vrms from motherboard, because in hwmonitor when temperatures reach 77 or 80 or higher the problem happens, when im playing mw3 temps are like 65 or 67 and there is no problem, if i go to bf3 or gta 4 or nfs world play like 5 minutes and BANG temperatures go high like crazy from 40 to 85 and freeze, the cpu its always 65 or 30 stock cooler, gpu 55 max or 65

if its your CPU getting that hot replace your heatsink with something better. If its your vrms turn off the AMD protection options in the bios in the post I linked, or put a spot fan on your vrms to cool them down. I use a scythe rasetsu, which is a top down cooler effectively cooling my CPU and board.
