Well, first off: What resolution does he play at?
Whats the budget?
Whats his OTHER hardware?

plays bf3 mp at 1080 ultra with 4msaa smoothly. it unlocks to six core and perfect for ps2.

edit: here is Hex at 4GHz . . .

http://www.3dmark.com/3dm11/6328043

Kaveri will have G.C.N. cores? The 7770 does too. Could we hope for Hybrid CrossFireX?

ummm what?? 5800K oc's pretty well...I know mine will do about 4.8ghz....I know im using an antec 920 but still...a Hyper 212 or better will pretty much do the same.....top out at 4.2ghz is B.S...maybe on stock heatsink...but not for anything aftermarket..

Additionally, the user has zero knowledge on overclocking so I believe we would scratch the oc part nao. tongue.gif
Will prolly use a weak (if not the stock cooler) so let's cross out the oc part again biggrin.gif

it seems the answer is clearer than distilled water. I've thought the 960T/7770 is the better one I just need to make sure of it. thumb.gif

again, thanks OCN!

ZERO OC KNOWLEDGE? Dude. What frequency do i run my L5520 @? 3.6GHz. Lots of undervolting and overclocking to find the most stable voltages and frequencies even if i just set it @ 2.4GHz

Say again? Do you really think i own such a cooler for stock performance?
*
The first reviews i read hit 4.2GHz on the FX cooler not the A10 cooler, the A10 cooler is a awful lot less efficient than a FX cooler
Even so average OCs aren't too high. 4.5GHz is not exactly much higher than 4.2GHz and there's the chance of a Zosma chip to unlock to a 6core as well as having superior IPC from the start (Clue : Thuban has slightly higher IPC than Deneb) as well as some ACTUAL L3 cache.

Did you mean to type Trinity instead of Deneb?

I'm pretty sure he was referring to the OP...

I don't think he meant you, he was referring to the end user of 'this' build.

Nope. Thuban actually has slightly higher IPC clock for clock than deneb. You didn't read the L3 cache statement did you?

When he said "user" in response to a post that replies to my claim that trinity does not OC as well as Piledriver does i assumed it was directed at me. I apologize for that
