hi guys,

i ave just got my new monitor and just set it up, i am using a hdmi cable at the moment.
i can`t get it to go over 60hz in my amd ccc or in games. i the ccc it does say 120hz supported but when i try to change the hz above 60 it will not.

also in games it just says 60hz ?

am i doing something wrong or do i need to use a DVI cable or something ?

any help please ?

Because HDMI is capped at 60hz. You will have to plug in the monitor via DVI or VGA inorder to be able to use 120hz.

You have to use a dual DVI cable. A regular DVI cable will still cap you at 60 hz

I'm using the dvi cable that came with the monitor and if let's me use 60,100,120hz. I wanted to use 75hz but there doesn't seem to be options for that in games ?
