660ti vs 660 (non-ti) sli? Any help would be appreciated. - Page 2

Thanks for all the help guys. I came to the conclusion that I definitely would upgrade to the 660 sli if I didn't already have a 660ti. I'm sure there would be a nice jump in performance increase but like others have mentioned, the 660ti runs pretty much everything at 1080p already.

As far as bang for the buck for gaming at 1080p, I don't think there is anything out there that can touch the 660 SLI though. I'm a bit of an anomaly because I game with a 1080p TV but I'm sure most gamers here play at higher resolutions. In that case, it would probably be wise to totally skip the 660ti / 660 and get at least a 670.

Once again, thank you for everyone that helped chime in. I was able to make an informative decision without completely rushing into it blindly. thumb.gif

Well never mind what I said previously. I ended up going for the 660 SLI and it should run everything very smoothly at 1080p with vsync on. I'm hoping this setup will last me a generation or two.
