Corsair - 600T Silver or Obsidian 650D?

I have been planning my build in a 650D for a long time coming.
But I recently looked at the 600T Silver in a new light...and boy is it sexy.
If i didnt have so much invested in the 650D itd be an easy decision...

Basically, on my 650D, Im going for the minimalist look. I've found a brushed aluminum drive bay cover, for a slot-load optical drive, that really takes this case to the next level, getting rid of the front bezel of a normal optical drive and just leaving it with a slot. Here it is:

http://www.amazon.com/Silverstone-5-25-Inch-Converter-Slot-Load-FP58B/dp/B007C1KPQY/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1364924157&sr=1-1&keywords=slot+load+brushed+aluminum

Also, i have already ordered the Scythe Kaze Master Flat fan controller. It is discontinued. It is very elegant looking, man would it look good with the case. It'll have white LED fans and cathodes. So this build is shaping up to be one sexy tamale. I'm drooling thinking about it.

But NOW my indecisive mind has unsettled itself after seeing this silver 600T, im so angry. It's hot. It looks like a gun-metal type silver color, which is such a turn on. The main turn-off is the big fan controller knob on the top of it. I wouldn't use it, seeing as how I've already ordered the Kaze.

I don't know which one to buy.

For God's sakes...help. me.

From a 600T owner go with the 650D, its quieter and made from aluminum and steel, the 600T is plastic and steel. Also you can fit a radiator in push pull very easy

I own the 600T Silver. It is a lovely, lovely case. But it is not without issues. Overall I like the look of it better than then 650D. The issue have with it is not the material it's made of or even the amount of noise it might have to some ppl. (I personally don't think it's very loud myself) My issue is the fans in it are not very good. They don't cool the case properly. You need to upgrade them.

The other issue is the fan controller is cheap and is likely to crap out at some point. I went ahead and had Corsair ship me a replacement (just in case) for free though and they did not hesitate in doing this. They acknowledged the issue and promptly shipped it to me without question.

Other than that, I can not comment on 650D but it's clearly made of sturdier material with no plastic. And it's another Corsair product, so you can't go too wrong with it either IMO.

I absolutely am in love with my 600T Silver. It came with a mesh panel AND a windowed panel. It's a dream to build in and very professional looking. At least to me it is. The gun metal color is freaking amazing looking. You really have to see it for yourself in person. Pics don't do it justice.

If you plan to put a radiator up top, the 650D is the way to go. If not, get which ever one you think looks better. They are both nice looking cases. Myself, I would get the 650D because of the room up top! Even if you won't be using a radiator, the option is still available.biggrin.gif I bought a 600T before Christmas, and went back to my HAF 932 because of this very reason!!!!! Not very well thought out, just thought the 600T white was so pretty.biggrin.gif Now my HAF is white.thumb.gif

I have a 600T black and really like my case. I also really like the look of the 650D. They both look really nice. If I were you I would stick with the 650D since you do have some nice accessories for it already. Either way it's win/win. Both have pros and cons i guess but since you already put money into it stick with the 650D.
