Ok I'm going to try it, I downloaded it and it's just a .reg file. Is that all this is supposed to be just a registry key fix? or is there a program with it as well? I was under the impression that coolbits was some sort of program.

They are strict with sli? I found this interesting at the time.tongue.gif

AFAIK it's just a registry hack, never used it myself.
Found this post which may be of help.

Yes that post did help and it worked, I am able to enable SLI. I just have a question though, am I supposed to restart after enabling SLI, because without restarting I tried to run a game and it just went to a black screen on both monitors, the main monitor would flash on and off occasionally and eventually (like 5 mins later) actually bring up the game, but god forbid I had to alt+tab because then the cycle of black screens would repeat, even ctrl+alt+del took forever to appear through the black screens. I'm assuming with normal SLI this is not normal.

Edit: Also things in general seem to lag more than they used to.

Tried restarting, it had no effect, I'm not sure what to do say about this, apparently I can't SLI these things very well. NVIDIA I am very disappointed in your lack of support for SLI'ing cards of different vrams.

That's definitely not how it's supposed to happen. Normally you don't even need to restart, you just set it to maximise performance, the screen goes black for one second, and that's it. Sucks that it's not working for you. frown.gif

I also just noticed that the two cards aren't clocked to the same speed, but ironically the SC card is clocked to the stock speeds and the stock card is clocked to the SC speeds.

You can try reinstalling your drivers. My experience with SLI has always been with cards from the same brand and same memory. The worst I had to ever do is reinstall drivers.
