My 1.5 GB was my original card and has a Lifetime Warranty in case it ever broke, the 3 GB I had given to me and I do not have anything for warranty, if it even has a warranty left. I would like to keep the card that has the warranty.

That might be the best idea then. Nvidea is a PITA about this compared to AMD.

It would make a great PhysX card.

So I was wondering if anyone had any experience with CoolBits could tell me how I could get it to work properly for me if at all possible. Any other ideas on how to enable SLI with my cards would also be greatly appreciated.

A question I also asked on the NVIDIA Forum but have yet to get an answer, would having the main monitor plugged into HDMI on the main card with the second monitor on DVI on the main card cause these instability issues I'm seeing? Should they both be on DVI?

Try it and see, can't hurt at this point

I did try and it attempts to enable SLI but the screen flashes quickly and comes back up with a very low resolution, the cards are no longer recognized by desktop gadgets and softwares etc, and before NVIDIA Control Panel finishes applying SLI it "stops working" and closes. A reinstallation of drivers and a restart is required to fix the resolution and to be able to see the cards again. So I'm unfortunately stuck with cards I can't SLI, but w/e I got one very good PhysX card now biggrin.gif.

Don't know if you got it working or not. But i stumbled across this thread and have figured out you can use 310.70 driver and SLI works. I'm running the same setup as you 1.5gGB and 3GB.

Edit: You also need to use Coolbits 2.0 in conjunction with that driver.
