Crucial m4 64GB seems to be the cheapest reputable SSD.

Samsung 840 (non Pro) 120GB is running 70GBP or so , the 250GB is around 130GBP.

Yeah the price is the problem with good, or really any, SSD. For the budget that he has I don't think it's worth it.

The SSD will be the best upgrade in a PC. It's a 50$ worth spending , even if its 64GB.

But you are right, its hard to buy everything with a tight budget. wink.gif

Yeah I'm on an extremely tight budget and I've went over by like 100

Better to spend now and enjoy it (SSD) than fret about 50-80 GBP tongue.gif

It's not like you're splurging that much anyhow. I could understand if you were buying GTX Titans or something to be reserved, but i3/FX-6300 + GTX 660 / HD7850 is basically bare minimum for 1080p these days (unless you play RTSes like Starcraft II in which you can just use a hd7750/GTX 650).

the Crucial is fine. Since the ssd is an additional item rather than an either/or component (at least in this situation), I think you can save it for later if it really stresses your budget. Do get one eventually, but running an hdd for a while isn't gonna kill you.
