Need a new gaming mouse - Page 2

im not using the sensei but im pretty sure it only suffers from 5% postive acceleration it works well on cloth and hard paths unlike g500 and g9x which suffers from negative acceleration on cloth pads. Hayiaa has a review on it but Why not buy a sensei raw it much cheaper I believe.

I'm not so sure if Sensei is what you want, it's quite a lot different from G500 and it's not really optimal for palm grip users. I presume you're a palm gripper if you like G500?

Logitech G700 is a fantastic choise, looks like, feels fantastic, has more then enough buttons and has a very good response time. I unfortunately cant get used to it because my other mouse, the Cyborg MMO 7 has a super fast response time and fantastic tracking, altough the G700 is great, its just not as good. But I cant recommend the MMO 7/RAT 7 because mine broke after 5 months of use.

The Sensei has the same problems on cloth pads.

Honestly.. there are people who could not switch from clawgrip to palm.. some others have only used one mouse and got used to the shape.. which does not mean they can't get used to another.

I for myself use a Deathadder however i have no problems using the Zowie AM with a claw grip.
..though it really killed me due to the low malfunction speed.

The shape of the Sensei is loved by the majority.. it still stays preference though.

True enough. I was just trying to figure out what OP might prefer, often it's easier not to try and change your grip after all.

If G500 does the trick, a G400 might be the easiest and most reliable solution here. It's got better build quality though it's a good deal lighter.

My grip is more of a claw meets palm. I keep my wrist firmly on the mousepad with a little bit of my palm on the mouse and the rest of the grip is claw.

I wanted to try something other than Logitech because this is the second mouse from them that has broken. So I'm now wanting to try something with high DPI as I barely move my hand at all while I'm playing. My wrist does not move from the spot on my mousepad actually.

This is why I wanted to try the Sensei. Based on that, any other recommendations?

If he's already used to the 9500's feel I can't imagine there's any harm getting another mouse with a 9X00 sensor.

Get the Sensei, i think you'll like it.
I however would not recommend the one with the glossy finish.. still preference.
