How high can I overclock

Alright so I would like to know how high I would be able to overclock with a Corsar 100i and a i5 3570k

My specs
Case: Corsair 400R

Motherboard: GA-Z77x-UD3H

CPU: i5 3570k

GPU: MSI GTX 660 Ti Power Edition

RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8 GB ram

Hard drive: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB

CPU Cooler: Corsair Hydro Series H100i

Power Supply: Corsair Enthusiast Series TX750M 750 Watt

Disc Drive: Sony AD-7280S-0B

Hey im also using an h100i on this 3570k I have and the max oc I was able to run stable with descent temps is 4.7 @ 1.344v. Which is still very fast and about a 2500k @ 4.9ghz or so. However anything beyond that voltage and the temps are not manageable by the h100i and either a delid or a custom loop would be able to get you past 1.35v unless your chip can oc better with less volate etc. Good luck.

No one will be able to give you an answer, it depends on how good your chip is. You have a great motherboard and cooling setup so even if you have a bad chip you should be able to hit 4.4GHz, if you have a very good one you could push up to 4.8GHz. Ivy chips run hot so you'll have to delid if you want to go higher than what you can currently attain.

It really depends on the chip. I can get to 4.4 Ghz with relatively low voltage but, in my experience, anything above that needs lots more. Ive settled with 4.5 Ghz / 1.288V which is somewhat high, my temps are 85C max after like 14 hours of Prime 95 testing, air cooling. Tried to boot 4.7 Ghz at 1.35V which lasted like 2 minutes and then BSOD crashed while stressing at which point the temps were already hitting around 96C lol.

Depends on several factors:
A. the chip itself , the voltage it gets at a certain multiplier is a big factor (voltage wall)
B. Whether you delid when you hit a temperature increase at a given clock (only applies to Ivy Bridge , "temperature wall")
C. whether you disable things on your motherboard to enable a higher OC

Just to let you know, your chip can reach 105c before throttling. I personally don't let my chip go over 90c, but that is my personal preference. So just keep that in my when you are overclocking. It is very important to watch the temps while stress testing with prime 95.
