Nope...

Got an article? I was pretty sure that was coming, seeing as to how they've got 4GB Mem. Sticks already.

I forget where I first read about it, anyhow, check out Wikipedia.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flash_disk

Albeit very slow... I found this on NewEgg
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820208064

EDIT: Oh and, the new SDHC (SD 2.0) cards can support up to 32GB if you didn't know that already Talk about a lot of memory in a small package...

Samsung said they were comitted to providing 64GB IDE flash drives for under $100 in 07/08. Seagate wants to make a 2.0TB HD in 08.

I don't think HD's and Flash drives are competing really...they have different plusses that make them useful. Flash for low-power situations that require mobility. HD for your desktop and unparalleled read/write performance.

I for one would love this. Simply for backing up recording sessions which can run upwards of 8gigs ( 20+ tracks recorded at 192khz ) Then i wouldnt have to split them up on 2 or 3 DVD's. And hard drives, well they fail sooner or later.

A hard drive can last 15 years of use. A dvd in the sun for 6 weeks will be dead.
