Haf-XM Question for owners (or potentially equal case)

Thread Starter
I am thinking of upgrading my case to a HAF-XM. I currently have the HAF-X but to be honest the fans are underwhelming and the thing is HUGE for what I need. The fans arent really upgradable either on the HAF X without spending $30-$40 per fan since they are the giant 200mm fans.

For the side panel, how far do the fan slots on the side panel extend length wise of the graphics card? I am intending to put 2x 140mm fans in that slot side by side, but if the fan slots only extend to the middle of the graphics card then I will look at other cases, I am hoping that they extend roughly to the HDD cage or where the blower of my 680 will be.

If anyone knows of a equal quality case in roughly the same price range I am all ears. I just like the fact that the HAF XM has upgradable large fans for smaller sizes (front I can replace with 2x 120mm, side 2x 140mm,).

Thanks guys!
Haf X

I don't know if this helps any, but I own a HAF 912. It has one 140mm fan on the side that is placed roughly where the left one would be on the XM, and if you would put another right next to it like the XM, I'm betting it would reach to the hard drive cage. I would say it would cover the full card length.
