Same reviewers show H100i 7.8c better than SA SB-E Extreme.

Reason was H100 had case separating of intake from exhaust but SA SB-E Extreme was trapped in case inside case in-taking and exhausting.. and of course they don't monitor cooler intake temp. They monitor room ambient.

In fair testing SA SB-E 42c to H100 41c
H100 41c to SA SB-E Extreme 34c
SA SB-E Extreme is 7.0c cooler than H100, but Vortez show H100 being 1.5c cooler than SA SB-E Extreme wink.gif

Temperature is delta.

H100 . . . . . . . . 41c 2500rpm. . . . . . . . 55dBA 2
SA SB-E . . . . . . 42c 1100rpm & 1300rpm 38dBA TY-150 & TY-141
SA SB-E Extreme 34c 2500rpm. . . . . . . . 56dBA 2x TY-143

So if air coolers are in cases where the hot exhaust leave case as it should instead of mixing with air and raising the cooler intake temp none of the CLC coolers would be better than top air coolers. wink.gif

My own case cools almost as good as my bench does. Cooler intake air temp is maybe 1-2c warmer than room. smile.gif
thanks all cleared,

im loving the look of the silver arrow.

Would i be able to turn The silver arrow/ phantek to blow air into the top fans, to keep my RAM from getting in the way?

My avatar is Phanteks exhausting out top. Just need at least 30mm between front fan and GPU. 40-50mm is better.

im not really enjoying the aesthetics of it. Eh. The phantek turned me off with the cheap looking stamped brand name on the top. So, maybe the silver arrow?

Who would naysay corsair SP\AF 120mm fans for the silver arrow?

Edit: The phantek vortez? this cooler looks sexy.

silver arrow is more tall than Phanteks, and phanteks than Heligon HE01. I would get NH D14 or HE01... bcuz of ur case

I Should have noted, that i will be buying SOME type of cooler after i buy the corsair 810 switch.

With that said, would the silver arrow fit? could one recommend me any air coolers that will either

1. Have great aesthetics
2.Help an 3570k improve odds on the silicon lottery, and help push voltage and OC abilities
3. Decals are a plus, painted fins are a plus, white/blue decals are a plus.
