Gigabyte 99FXA-UD7 error code 75/7f, post hangs

Hey all, slight problem.

I took my computer outside to give it some spring cleaning, and when I brought it back in and hooked everything up, it would post but hang at detecting IDE drives. I gave it a few minutes and reset, hung again. I cleared the CMOS, and I can only assume it continues to hang in the same spot since the splash screen now displays. The LED display sometimes shows 75, sometimes 7F. The manual says:

75:Detect & install all IDE devices: HDD, LS120, ZIP, CDROM...
7F: 1. Switch back to text mode if full screen logo is supported
- If errors occur, report errors & wait for keys
- If no errors occur or F1 key is pressed to continue:
2. Clear EPA or customization logo

I've disconnected all by the primary hard drive, and have tried several different sata ports. I've also tried the old drive I hadn't gotten around to formatting and it doesn't work either. Ideas?

Make sure all your ports are clear of dust and moisture.

I assumed that you just plug everything back in without changing any hardware?
