I'll be going through some of the other threads but I'm curious about your guys chip.

If you can post a quick speed+volts you are running, the main thread has too many posts to see how others chips do.

I see this chip is different than my sandy, in windows I don't bsod but apps start crashing when low voltage

I set that up, im just curious, If I have a "WHEA error" but i can still pass stress tests, should i increase vcore still?

Hey thanks for posting mate smile.gif

I got a bit worried when i ran "optimized settings" and under load it hit 1.2 biggrin.gif thought i had a dud right out of the box.

Going to reformat my machine and reinstall all drivers and give this chip a fresh start

Do you want stable vcore settings or just bootable settings?

Best of luck to you !

A good thing to try is to boot at 5ghz at 1.5v and if it boots take the voltage down until it doesn't boot anymore. I'm curious to see how good you chip is. Let me know the last bootable voltage you can get for 5ghz. Congrats on the chip! Happy you finally got it!

People have different thresholds for what they consider "stable." What gets through one person's gambit of tests won't make it through another's. You'll just have to find a system that works for you and find what you consider stable.

4.8 @ 1.36V

Ha! Same here. 4.8ghz @ 1.36v

btw most consider a 23 hour run of p95 to be the best way to determine if your chip is stable. 23 hours is how long it takes to run through all the tests. Others run p95 a full 48 hours (I have seen people get errors after 23 hours). Others just depend completely on folding to determine a stable OC.

Lets see...

bootable:
4.6ghz - stock
5ghz - 1.28/1.29

stable:
5ghz - 1.41v
4.8 is like 1.30v
