another mouse thread...

hey gang. i think i'm going to be looking for a mouse soon. currently i have a razer mamba (first gen). i love the heck out of it, but it's showing it's age. anywho, onto the questions.

1. What's your grip style?

a mix between palm and claw.

2. What's your sensitivity?

it's currently at 2400dpi I do believe but i'm looking to lowering that to maybe 1800dpi. when i first got this mouse i was rocking the 5600dpi (yay marketing)

3. What's your maximum budget?

undecided, but let's keep it under $100

4. Do you want additional buttons?

i would like atleast the 2 on the left side for my thumb (mouse4/5)

5. What games do you play?

A TON. League of legends, BF3, Defiance, SC2, Diablo 3, just about anything.

6. Do you mind about prediction?

I have recently turned off software precision and i don't remember if my Mamba has prediction. I think I would rather have no prediction but i'm open for suggestions here.

7. Other relevant information:

My mousepad is a Razer Vespula. Im not sure if i would be a fan of Synapse 2.0 but i've been eyeing the deathadder 2013. Also want those BST's mice but who knows when they are coming out.
I would like a lightweight mouse. Button activation force maybe a bit on the lighter side as well, possibly good drivers as well but that might be pushing it.

This is what I have been using. It has all of the goodies.

You can also adjust it to your exact grip and hand size....

You should definitely go the easy way and pick a Deathadder 2013 if you already like Mamba.

that mouse looks like an abomination lol. i do like the pinky rest though. don't think i'd ever use the horizontal scroll wheel though.

Lol, I have yet to see a game use the horizontal wheel. Yet, I try to use it all the time. It is positioned perfect for scrolling through weapons.... If it only worked.

I say, wait for the death adder if that is what you really want to do. Hell, even if your mouse does go out, I am sure you have a spare or can live with something cheap until the 2013 model is out. thumb.gif
