Honestly, the only game I've had issues with since going CrossFire is Far Cry 3, and I managed to fix that using RadeonPro. Smooth sailing everywhere else, including new games like Crysis 3 and BioShock Infinite. Previously I had a 560 Ti SLI setup, and didn't experience issues with that either. So it could be that I'm just not sensitive to micro-stutter...either way, I'm loving my 7950s.

my crossfire is working just fine. I've been trying very hard to notice micro stutter, and i cant. Didnt have any reall issues with it either, once i built the system i just enabled crossfire and it was smooth sailing from there.

i was surfing net and encountered this: my mobo pcie slots works 8x speed when crossfired instead of 16x speed of 1 card. What does that mean? how much performance could it affect comparing to two 16x cfed cards?

Shouldn't be a problem. Current gen cards still can't saturate PCIE 2.0 (what you have) bandwidth much less PCIE 3.0. You'll be fine.

k guys i bought second 7870 and installed. Everything seems fine fps skyrocketed at benchmarks. No microstutter either. I want to oc them a little without playing with voltage cause of power consumption.

How does oc work with cf? They are currently working on 1050 ghz shall i put them just 1100 and use like that? How much shall i increase the clock to see a difference in fps?

thks

Overclocking is relatively straight forward even when using CF. I use MSI Afterburner to OC. There is an option to OC them the same or individually. For instance, on one of my 6870's I can only get up to 965mhz on the core clock before artifacting occurs while on my other card I can get up to 985mhz before that happens. Have fun
