What I will do it try me some Radeon Pro... I wish I could just find a decent "how to guide" for it.

I have the same 'stuttering' thing on mp. Its was just the cpu bound of the game. Just oc more and it will go away. When you are at 100 fps and an explosion happen and your fps drop to 35-40 fps then ofc you will experience stuttering.

If you want to use radeon pro. Download the preview one. Then just add a profile of bf3 then go to tweaks and then use dynamic vsync or dynamic framerate cap.

Yeah once I get my loop setup I want to see If I can break the 4.6 barrier it seems like i need a decent voltage bump to get to 4.7.

Its just because I have not broken the 4.6 barrier yet thumb.gif I ran the game @ 4.3 and @ 4.6 and dint see any sort of improvement.

There is enough proof that crossfire does not work properly from the various articles on the net. Yeah maybe it works ok in a couple of games but overall it does not. I experienced exactly the spikes that are described in those articles, it's not an invention. With Sli I don't have any of these issues. Nvidia charge you a premium for their products and they know why they can do it.

This is one of those things that who has AMD wants Nvidia and Who has Nvidia wants AMD.... Conclusion we are never satisfied with what we've got... We have to find always a way to spend money biggrin.gif

Considering this "Frame rating" and "Frame time" thing seems to be getting more popular, hopefully the people with the gear will start to do the community a favor and run some multi-GPU systems through a standardized system and let us know the results.

As I said earlier, my stance on it is why risk it, especially when you're paying 100% more in your initial investment, only to risk a negative performance yield. And especially when you're just going to play BF3, which looks fantastic at decent settings at 1080 on something as old as a 58xx series card.

Not only BF3! I play pretty much everything out there, from Indie games, to COD, to Arma 2 and 3, Granted mostly FPS titles with a few MMORPGs mixed in (I can shake EVE or Guild wars 2 from some reason tongue.gif )
