The costs between 7870 LE and HD7950 is so close it makes it hard to decide which to get. I have actually bought a Sapphire XT HD7870 and a Power Color Myst but I returned them both because I keep reading mixed reviews on these cards and it looks like the 7870 LE cards are limited in over clocking by BIOS/software. That tahiti based HD7870 is very tempting for the price though.

These cards do indeed sound like reference 7970 PCB cards.

My TFIII hit the exact same overclock on stock volts (1150 core)
My ASIC score is 72% it idles @ .805

I maxed out in Heaven @ 1175 / 1750. Havent tried to add any more voltage yet.

I've attached my bios below:

Tahiti.zip 41k .zip file

ENJOY!

Got mine yesterday.
Does it look like the stock voltage for these cards are 1.250? thats what mine is defaulting out at.
also does 1170/1800 on stock. Pretty nice.
also, quick, anyone else experiencing low-noise-buzzing when benching this card? could be my setup though, its not my psu(pcp&c 750w)

What are max temps you've seen so far?

1.25v in 3D mode is what my HIS non reference do.

Is the voltage adjustment working or does it force 1.25v in 3D mode?
