Update, I tried flashing a reference 7970 bios, but i have not been successful. Anyone has been able to flash a 7970 bios?

Just bought a 21196-00 and was surprised to see there were no specific Windows 7 x64 drivers for that version on Sapphire's website. Will any of Sapphire's 7950's drivers work well with the card? Kinda pissed there wasn't anything at all. See for yourself:

http://www.sapphiretech.com/presentation/downloads/?pid=1878&psn=0006&lid=1&os=6

Should i be worried? Is this a newer 7950 card?

Did anyone order a 100352-4L and ended up getting a 21196-00-20G with 100352-4L sticker slapped on the side of the box?

Picked one up from Newegg.

Looks like I got one. I know 100352-4L is pretty much 21196-00-20G, but thought I'd share.

This was verified when I registered my card with sapphire. The model id shows up as 21196-00, not 100352-4L.

If there are any Canadians in here, Canada Computers has 2 Sapphire models on sale for $299 right now ($20 off): 21196-00-20G and 11196-01-40G, both the same price. FYI guys and gals. I have a the 40G one, and even though it's 810mhz core as opposed to 850mhz core for the 20G, it can be flashed with another Sapphire bios (flashed mine to 925mhz core).

Mine did too. Ended up being a dud too. Had very loud electrical noise on the desktop.

I've tried with no luck, also tried Sonda5's sapper bios from his Sapphire 950OC card. They would boot into windows but just go blank anytime I started something with 3D. Has anyone here got a successful flash of ANY bios?

I ordered the first day and have two of the cards and both are great cards 1150/1750 on stock volts but would love to have a non boost bios to try on these
