Of course it's the 660. But it's double the price, you know.
http://www.e-shop.gr/product?id=PER.515776
this is far better than the 660 and is still cheaper

I know but if you get 2 exact same models that run at same clock speed then there are no worries

Really nothing to worry about. 950mhz core is easy for hd7950. Just set clocks in crossfire mode and done. You can even make custom bios to set same speeds if you are worried. Nothing to fear.

So guys, did anyone create a customer bios for our cards?

Im looking to see if there is a way to extract slighlty better performance based on the fact that these cards are 7970 PCBs

For instance, any chance we could try a 280x bios? biggrin.gif

PS: running OC to 1100/1400 100% stable.

Here's my modified BIOS using Darkmhz's bios editing tool from Techpowerup

http://www.techpowerup.com/forums/threads/vbe7-vbios-editor-for-radeon-hd-7000-series-cards.189089/

I modified the following:

Removed Boost
Default clock now 1000 (from 925)
Default memory now 1500 (from 1200)
Default voltage is 1.20 (from 1.25)
Default TDP to 196 (from 156?)
More agressive fan profile

I would confirm these settings work before you flash the bios, I believe the only setting you'll really need to change is the voltage maybe depending on your needs. Use at your own risk!
