Keyboard Alternative for FPS

I think I'd like to try some different form of input for FPS games.

I'd like some sort of joystick of maybe something similar to the Wii nunchuck. Something with an analog stick for movement. Also I'd like a trigger that I could press with my left index finger for ADS.

I only play FPS so I'd only need a specific set of controls:

- An analog stick for movement
- Trigger for ADS
- Jump
- Melee
- Reload
- Crouch
- Prone
- Sprint
- Respawn
- Kill streaks

Can anyone recommend a good ambidextrous or lefthanded joystick-type thing I could use for this situation?

Dude, you're looking for a console controller. But you will be at such a disadvantage in first person shooters, especially if they are online. Keyboard mouse is always win, unless you are flying a plane or something then a joystick or controller is nice.

Maybe you should check out one of those gaming pads, like this

A controller is kind of hard to use with one hand.

I want something for my left for movement. Mouse is fine for my right hand, I just want an alternative for movement. When I played on Xbox I found the analog stick much more effective for movement.

I had already considered something like the nostromo but I want something more like a joystick.

What I'm really looking for is a joystick that is left-handed or ambidextrous that I can use with my left hand instead of the keyboard for movement.

I would like a joystick with an analog stick for movement and a trigger that I can map to ADS. Also having many buttons would be nice so I can still do all the other actions.

Something like the Razer Orbweaver or its successor the Nostromo? Logitech also made one but I can't recall what the exact model is. They all stemmed from the Belkin N5TE.

They all have a thumb pad, which is similar to a joystick?
